وأخيرا أعلنت نوكيا بشكل رسمي عن جهازها الجديد من عائلة N-Series والذي يأتي بشكل مشابهه لجهاز N81 و N95 ولكن بمواصفات مختلفة
فهو يأتي بدعم للتلفزيون المباشر DVB-H وذاكرة داخلية ضخمة بحجم 16GB وإمكانية إضافة ذاكره خارجية من نوع كروت MicroSD (ممكن أن يصل مجموع الذاكرة إلى 24GB):menokia152:

وبالمقابل جهاز N96 يأتي بنظام سيمبيان الجديد S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 وبالإضافه لكل هذا فهو يأتي بمواصفات أيضا رائعة مثل الGPS وكاميرا 5 ميغابكسل مع فلاش ليد مزدوج وليس من نوع زينون

ومن الملاحظ في هذا الجهاز أنه بإعتقادي عبارة عن مشغل أفلام الفيديو والملتيميديا فالشاشة الخارجية كبيرة ويأتي بدعم لكل صيغ الفيديو ومنها WMV
